Obiettivi formativi
L'insegnamento è finalizzato a fornire agli studenti conoscenze e competenze sui seguenti argomenti:
- concetti di base dell'informatica;
- struttura e funzionalità del computer, dall'hardware al software;
- struttura delle reti di computer;
- approfondimento dell’impiego della videoscrittura e della creazione e gestione di presentazioni e fogli di calcolo;
- concetti di base di statistica;
- procedure di base di trattamento statistico dei dati.
The course aims to provide students with knowledge and competence on the following topics:
- basic concepts of computer science;
- structure and functionality of computers, from hardware to software;
- structure of computer networks;
- improvement in the use of word processing and the creation and management of presentations and spreadsheets;

INFORMATICA
- concetti di base, elaboratori, processori;
- componenti hardware di un personal computer per input, output, memorizzazione ed elaborazione dei dati;
- sistemi di numerazione e codice binario di conversione di lettere e numeri;
- struttura delle reti locali di computer e della rete internet;
- utilizzo dei sistemi operativi e di software per la scrittura di testi e la creazione e gestione di presentazioni e fogli di calcolo, con riferimento al pacchetto Microsoft Office.
STATISTICA
- concetti introduttivi e definizioni di base;
- errore statistico, accuratezza e precisione. Concetti di frequenza e probabilità;
- statistica descrittiva: indici di tendenza centrale e indici di dispersione;
- test statistici.
INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY

Modalità di insegnamento
L'insegnamento si articola in 35 ore di lezioni teoriche e 16 ore di esercitazioni di laboratorio.
L’insegnamento viene erogato in presenza negli orari definiti da calendario.
Le esercitazioni saranno svolte in aula informatica in presenza negli orari definiti da calendario. Gli studenti saranno divisi in più gruppi tenendo conto della capienza dell'aula.
Le esercitazioni dovranno essere svolte con Microsoft Office utilizzando i Thin Clients presenti nell'aula informatica. Per riptere le eserctiazioni a casa, al fine di prepararsi per l'esame, gli studenti hanno la possibilità di scaricare il suddetto programma sul proprio Personal Computer dal sito di Unito.
La piattaforma Moodle accoglie tutte le diapositive delle lezioni, i testi delle esercitazioni, e istruzioni per la loro esecuzione.
The course consists of 35 hours of theoretical lectures, and 16 hours of practicals in ICT class.
The theoretical lectures are carried out in presence according to the lecture timetable.
Practicals will be carried out in the ICT class according to the lecture timetable. The students will be split into several groups taking into account the places available in the classroom
Practicals will have to be carried out by Microsoft Office using the Thin Clients availables in the ICT class. In order to repeat the practicals at home, in view of the exam, students may download the above-called software on their own Personal Computer from the Unito site.
Exercises can be carried out with Microsoft Office Suite or with a free software, such as OpenOffice.
The Moodle platform hosts all lecture slides, the texts of practicals and the instructions for their execution.

Modalità di verifica dell'apprendimento
L'esame verrà svolto in presenza nell'aula informatica, utilizzando i Thin Clients ivi installati.
L'esame è suddiviso in quattro parti: domande di statistica a risposta multipla; esercizio di statistica da eseguire con Microsoft Excel; domande di informatica a riposta multipla; prova pratica (Excel, Word o Power Point).
The exam will be carried out in presence in the ICT class, using the Thin Clients installed there.
The exam is diivided into four parts: multiple choice questions on statistics; exercise on statistics to be performed with Microsoft Excel; multiple choice questions on information technology and computer; practical test (Microsoft Excel, Word or Power Point).- Oggetto:
